Questions before you choose
Is the free version really free?
Yes. Fortem Free connects to one selected kubeconfig context at a time and includes the complete investigation path: environments, workloads, resources, events, logs, routing and supported actions. No account is required.
What does the Pro license unlock?
One local fleet view across up to 10 kubeconfig contexts for an individual operator. Cluster credentials remain local and each context is read independently.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. The founding license is a one-time purchase covering 12 months of updates. Covered builds continue to work after that period; a future update renewal is optional.
How is the Pro license delivered?
Stripe returns you to Fortem after payment, where the browser immediately downloads a signed offline license. Fortem does not send a separate license email and does not need a remote activation server.
What is different about Teams?
Teams is for organizations that need a shared deployment boundary, more than ten clusters, integration help and a support relationship. Scope is agreed before billing because those needs depend on network and security boundaries.
Does Fortem require a Helm chart?
No. The local product uses your existing kubeconfig and external auth helpers. Fortem does not require an in-cluster agent.
