1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Cybrix, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating as Fortem, collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our ECS Fargate fleet management platform and related services (the "Service"). Fortem operates as a control plane inside your AWS infrastructure. Your workloads, secrets, environment data, and application traffic remain in your own AWS account and are never stored on Cybrix servers.

2. Information We Collect

• ·Account Information: Email address and name when you contact us or book a discovery call
• ·Usage Telemetry (opt-in only): Anonymised feature usage events — no environment names, no workload data, no cost figures
• ·Communications: Content of emails you send to us for support or sales inquiries
• ·Technical Data: IP address, browser type, and referrer when you visit fortem.dev

3. What We Do Not Collect

Fortem connects to your AWS account via read/write IAM roles scoped to ECS Fargate management. The following data never leaves your AWS account and is never stored on Cybrix servers:

• ·ECS task definitions, service configurations, or deployment history
• ·Environment variables, secrets, or Parameter Store / Secrets Manager values
• ·AWS credentials, IAM role policies, or VPC configurations
• ·Application logs, CloudWatch metrics, or cost billing data
• ·Container images, source code, or database contents

4. How We Use Your Information

• ·Send product announcements and updates (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• ·Respond to sales inquiries and schedule discovery calls
• ·Improve the Fortem product based on anonymised, opt-in telemetry
• ·Comply with legal obligations

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• ·Cal.com: When you book a discovery call, your name and email are shared with our scheduling provider
• ·Email infrastructure providers: For sending transactional and marketing emails
• ·Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

6. Data Architecture

Fortem runs as a control plane inside your AWS account. Your ECS Fargate workloads, databases, secrets, and application traffic run in your AWS account and are never co-mingled with Cybrix infrastructure. We connect via cross-account IAM roles with minimum required permissions. You can audit, restrict, or revoke these roles at any time from your AWS console. For Enterprise plans with self-hosted control plane, the entire Fortem system runs in your own AWS account with no data egress to Cybrix. A separate Data Processing Agreement is provided.

7. GDPR

For European users, we are committed to GDPR compliance. Your infrastructure data never leaves your AWS account — Fortem holds only metadata (service names, schedule configurations, task counts). For personal data collected on fortem.dev (email addresses, contact inquiries), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us at [email protected].

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure API key management. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. Data Retention

We retain contact data until you request deletion. To delete your data, email [email protected] and we will process your request within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email.
